Zen Wang

Nelson, BC

Freedom. It is not given. It is earned. It cannot be taken. It is surrendered. It is not a word. It is a state of mind.

Bio

A fourth-generation sculptor originally from China, Bonnington-based artist Zen Wang uses tools once belonging to his great-grandfather. A polymath who is as comfortable wielding a chainsaw as he is designing on a computer, Zen holds an engineering degree, a business master's degree and a film diploma. His art has appeared in many TV shows and movies, and his documentary films have had multiple premieres in Toronto. Zen tells stories that matter for people who give a damn.
