Robert Turriff

North Vancouver, BC

Highlighting frogs' role as environmental barometers, this sculpture serves as a reminder that the fate of these fragile creatures mirrors the health of our ecosystems.

Bio

A sculptor who lives and works in North Vancouver, Robert Turriff’s personal art practice focuses on creating sculptures that combine a variety of materials in unique ways, often using unconventional materials not usually used in art production. Inspired by beautiful organic forms that draw reference from nature, his work typically involves a direct method of creating such as welding or carving.
