In Slavic mythology, Perun (Cyrillic: Перýн) is the highest god of the pantheon and the god of sky.
A mixed-media artist with a small studio located on the east shore of Kootenay Lake, Olav’s Scandinavian, Slavic and Sapmi roots influence his lifestyle, which translates through the creation of his work. Connecting with nature and honouring the ancestors’ ancient ways is key to his aesthetic, as is keeping tradition alive for the next generations through his art.
