Paul Reimer

Cranbrook, BC

Proximity to wilderness has always been a key ingredient in Reimer’s lifestyle and art. Trained as a blacksmith, this love of nature has inspired much of his work. Equally important to him is public art and its role in the community, with a number of his works are prominently displayed in and around his hometown of Cranbrook.

Connected turns mundane found and recycled objects and transforms them into something beautiful. Imposing and accessible at the same time, this piece is powerful in both its form and message.
